context
amc academy coaches students for mathematics competitions. i co-founded it and built the software it runs on, and we have grown it to $145k cad in cumulative revenue and $14k cad in monthly recurring revenue.
the platform
i built a next.js and postgresql platform with separate dashboards for students, coaches, and admins, covering assignments, class logs, and resource delivery.
behind it are role-scoped apis for assignment submissions, feedback, class logs, and coach pay periods, using nextauth sessions, supabase queries, and vercel blob for file uploads.
automation and deployment
i automated data synchronization and transaction tracking with python, containerized the services with docker, and set up github actions workflows for testing and deployment.
